Worship Brandie Bledsaw
“Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.
He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly,
Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.”
Brandie’s vision of worship comes from this scripture. As a worshipper, she finds it is her great honor to sing of God’s goodness and proclaim who he is in every moment. Worship leading allows her to share who Jesus is, all He has done, and His great love.
As a little girl, in small town Oklahoma, Brandie joined her family in the band Royal Bloodline and traveled through the plain states, ministering along the way. In her teen years, she served on the worship team for her home church.
After some time, God blessed Brandie with one of the greatest gifts he can give, her family. With her loving husband Antone, Brandie and their three children Natalie, Eli, and Wendy decided to make the move from Oklahoma to California in 2002. They have called the Central Coast their home ever since.
Seeking to serve, Brandie accepted a position as a Children’s director in 2008 and was blessed to share Jesus with children in this position for 7 years, as well as, praising God as a worship team member and serving as an interim worship director. She enjoyed every minute teaching our local children and families about Jesus. During this time the doors also opened for her to be a missionary in the Philippines. She fell in love with the culture and the people and leads teams there to share the Gospel each year. In all of her ministries, the philosophy is the same ~ Love people and point them to our Savior.
Throughout her life and ministry, the call to worship continued to grow stronger. After years of prayer, the Lord answered and gave her the desire of her heart, allowing her to give all of her attention to worship. She became part of the First Baptist Church family in January 2017 and joyfully accepted the position of worship leader. Her goal is to see people grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, to love as Christ loves, and to inspire people to worship God who deserves our every breath.
Do you not know? Have you not heard? Our God is the everlasting God!
Now that is something to sing about!
